Upcoming Events

Next Meeting will be Sunday March 21st at 6pm at the Cougar Building. An orthopaedic surgeon will be attending to discuss injuries and prevention. The meeting is open to all players and parents.  The regular meeting will be held immediately after the session.

Last chance Registration for 13 years and older players will be held March 20 from 9-noon and March 24 from 6-8 at the Cougar Building.

No Checks will be accepted!!! We will accept debit and credit cards.

TRAVEL TRYOUTS: 10u Sat March 13 from 9-10 for anyone who missed last weekend. 11-13 Sat March 13 from 9-12.   All sessions to be held at York Township Elementary School Gym.

16u April 10 from 9-12, and Sun April 11 from 1-4 at DAHS field 6

1 session to be held Fri April 9 from 6-dusk at York Township Field 1 for anyone who cannot make Sat 4/10 and Sun 4/11 sessions.

Cougar Workday is set for Saturday March 27 - meet at Cougar Building at 8 am all Volunteers welcome.

We continue to look for team sponsors. Sponsorship is a $200 donation with additional possibilities for banners at fields. Please contact us at dtcougarbaseball@yahoo.com if interested.

League modifications for 2010: divisions will be as follows, 6u Tball, 8U Minor B, 10u Minor A, 12u Majors, 16u Seniors. Majors, Minor A, and Minor B will use 60' bases and 46' mounds.  Seniors will use 90' bases and 60'6" mounds. More information will follow.

Prospective Coaches

All coaches are required to obtain PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 34).  This requires completion of Form SP4-164. 'Request for Criminal Record' and Form CY-113, 'Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.  There is a $10.00 processing fee for each form, and a copy of the processed SP4-164 must be included with the CY-113.  Forms and instructions can be obtained from the links below:

Coaches, please use proper discretion when it comes to playing in poor conditions. Please be sure to call 817-0928 or email at DTCougarBaseball@yahoo.com if you cancel a game due to weather and need to reschedule. Please try to reschedule within 2 weeks so we can ensure all games are played.
